Air Conditioning Maintenance in Fort Worth
Family & Veteran-Owned AC Tune-Ups for Tarrant & Parker County Homeowners
Fort Worth air conditioning systems run hard. From May through September, temperatures regularly push past 100 degrees, piling up more annual operating hours than systems in most U.S. climates. That kind of use accelerates wear on belts, electrical contacts, and refrigerant components faster than manufacturer baseline assumptions account for. Annual professional maintenance isn’t optional for systems working this hard. It’s what helps keep them running when the heat is worst.
Texas Total Comfort Systems, LLC provides air conditioning maintenance for homeowners across Fort Worth, Aledo, Tarrant County, and Parker County. We’re a family and veteran-owned company, and we bring the same honesty and integrity to a routine tune-up as we do to any other call. Same-day solutions are available when you need help fast.

There are a few things Fort Worth homeowners can do between professional visits to help their systems perform:
- Check the filter monthly – a clogged filter forces the system to work harder and drives up energy costs. Replace it every three months, or sooner if it’s visibly dirty.
- Keep the outdoor unit clear – trim vegetation and remove debris from around the condenser so airflow isn’t restricted.
- Verify the unit is level – an unlevel pad can affect refrigerant flow and put unnecessary stress on the compressor.
- Clear the condensate drain line – a partially blocked drain is one of the most common causes of water damage and system shutdowns. Flushing it periodically is a simple preventive step.
- Schedule professional maintenance annually – have one of our HVAC technicians inspect the full system before the summer season starts.
Why Regular AC Maintenance Pays Off in Fort Worth
The math on preventive maintenance is straightforward. An AC system running near peak efficiency can use less electricity to deliver the same cooling, which can show up in your monthly utility bill. A well-maintained system is also less likely to fail during July and August, when technician schedules are tightest and a repair can mean days without cooling.
- Fewer Breakdowns
Routine maintenance catches developing problems before they become failures. Loose electrical connections, low refrigerant, and partial drain blockages don’t announce themselves until they cause a shutdown. Finding them during a scheduled visit can cost less than finding them on a 105-degree afternoon. - Lower Energy Costs
A system running at peak efficiency doesn’t have to work as hard to hold your target temperature. That can translate to lower electricity costs across a Fort Worth summer that can stretch five months or more. - Longer System Lifespan
Properly maintained AC systems can last 15 to 20 years. Deferred maintenance can shorten that window by allowing minor wear to compound into major component damage over time.
The TLC Comfort Club Maintenance Plan
Our TLC Comfort Club is built around the AC service cycle Fort Worth homeowners actually need. Members receive two professional tune-ups per year: one in the spring before the cooling season and one in the fall, so the system is inspected at both ends of the period when it works hardest.
Deferred maintenance carries real efficiency costs. The EPA has found that as little as 1/100th of an inch of dirt on an evaporator coil can reduce efficiency by 5 percent. Louisiana State University research found that dirty evaporator coils, condenser coils, or blower assemblies can increase electrical usage by 50 percent or more. A Texas A&M University study found that a 23 percent refrigerant undercharge can result in as much as a 52 percent efficiency loss. An estimated 70 percent of air conditioning failures involve problems that routine maintenance can prevent. These aren’t abstract risks. They’re the kind of degradation that accumulates quietly across a long Fort Worth cooling season.
TLC Comfort Club members receive:
- Twice-yearly tune-ups – a thorough system check each spring and fall
- Service call discount – members pay less on service call fees throughout the year
- No overtime or after-hours fees – evening and Saturday service calls are billed at standard rates
We service the entire Fort Worth Dallas Metroplex, including Aledo, Tarrant County, and Parker County.

Danny and Derek were amazing! Extremely respectful and kind, as two single women with children in the home we were very comfortable with them, (even my dog who is typically scared of men from a rough beginning of life before we rescued her was perfectly fine with them in our home!) They were polite and professional. They were honest with what we needed and what we didn’t need, they even went above and beyond and helped us change a few light bulbs (as we don’t own a tall ladder). We will be recommending them to anyone who needs any HVAC services, and we will continue to use them for any maintenance or repairs in our home! Great job guys!- Marissa G.

This is an awesome company to do business with. Every member of the team is polite, helpful and always willing to answer questions. I love how responsive the office staff is when setting appointments. The service techs are always well dressed and clean, respectful enough to remove their boots before entering the house, always willing to answer questions. The techs go over all the details of what they are doing and what the find while servicing the equipment. Over all just very professional and comfortable to deal with. I personally like the text message I receive prior to the techs arrival. It tells me his name, professional background, certifications and even a snippet about his family. They definitely got the extra mile to ensure their customers are well taken care of. My husband loves that the pricing is always fair and represents the companies desire to give the best and honest service.- Michelle M.
